Rev. Johnson A. Feyisetan

Nigeria

Holy greetings to you from my
family and all the Love Lines in Nige-
ria to all the Love Lines families
around the world.

Despite enemies, the work of God
is moving well in Nigeria. Thanks to
God for giving us open doors. Six of
our counselors and I went up to a
mountain to pray and fast for seven
days.  We prayed for you and all of
your ministry staff at the headquarters
and for all of the Love Line centers. I
tell you this so you will know how
committed my counselors are to the
things of God.  To the glory of God, I
didn’t collect one penny from the
counselors because God said that I
should sponsor that time together.

It’s our prayer that 2004 will be the
year of marching to glory in Jesus’
name.  I’m encouraging all of the mem-
bers of Love Lines world wide to be
faithful to God’s work this year be-
cause I heard the voice of God telling
me, “Son, I will reward those that are
faithful with me this year 2004.”  I’m
praying that all of us directors and
counselors and members will be obedi-
ent to the end (Isaiah 1:19,20).

Nigerian Love Lines Crisis Center
is open 7 days a week.  After calling us,
at least 200 people came to our church,
home or Love Lines office for prayer
and counseling.  They were touched
with the power of God.  About 561
people were filled with the Holy Spirit
through the phone calls and visits.

Since we started our center I have
come to see that many people are dy-
ing without good counseling. This
work has changed my family and me.

There is joy in working with the
Lord, as you know.  Praise God a
crown that will never fade away is
waiting for us (1Peter 5:4).

We are happy to let you know that
we are starting a center in Krasno-
armeysk, Ukraine. Recently, a lady
who was raised from the dead came to
Kiev for training when I was there.  In
a short time she was able to sign up 32
people to work as phone counselors in
Krasnoarmeysk.

Although they lacked knowledge
in our ministry area, they had a great
love for Jesus and a desire to serve
others.  Our teachers from Kiev gath-
ered for prayer every night before they
left to begin their training classes. God
provided a house with a phone for
them in a poor area of downtown Kras-
noarmeysk. The people there have no
money so Love Lines in Kiev blessed
them with training materials, Christian
books, a computer and money for the
teachers. They will be opening the first
week in February 2004.

Last summer Love Lines in Kiev
experienced great difficulties: several
counselors left, some people stopped
giving financial support and the land-
lord raised the cost of rent twice.  In
addition, they had a new director and
no finances for advertisement. But,
praise God, they overcame. Now they
have 26 very good phone counselors
who are on fire for God and have a
love for people.  God has been faithful
to provide finances. They are begin-
ning another training session and are
making plans to raise money to buy
their own place so they will be able to
expand.

Rev. Rusan Pathak

Jamshedpur, India

Christian greetings from Love
Lines Crisis Center, Jamshedpur, India.

In the year 2003 we received 514
calls from 409 people.  Two new fami-
lies are coming to our Worship service.
Sixty-five men, women and children
received healing and follow-up prayer.

Nineteen young people were
helped to continue their studies; twen-
ty-nine marriages were restored; forty-
eight potential divorces were averted
(the couples are now living together
with their children); twenty-five peo-
ple received salvation. One was blind,
two were in prison; seventeen people
were filled with the Holy Spirit; eighty-
one people found some kind of em-
ployment and seventy-three gave up
liquor.  In addition, we spend time in
the homes of forty elderly people.  One
man was very discouraged after a long
illness.  He had given up hope and
worried about his future.  Then he re-
ceived Jesus as his Savior and was
filled with the Holy Spirit.  Now he
says, “I am not an orphan. My Heav-
enly Father will take care of me. He is
so faithful to me. He loves me.”

A woman lost her husband in an
accident. Love Lines Jamshedpur help-
ed her spiritually and financially.  She
and her daughters are now living with
hope as they grow in Christ Jesus.

Early in the year we used our mo-
bile phones effectively, but as calls in-
creased, we decided to install two fixed
phones.  We struggled to secure a fixed
line that was kept very busy. We also
installed one fax/answering machine.

Several testimonies have resulted
from our telephone counseling. A
young cadet army girl was relieved
from training because she became
mentally confused.  She was delivered
through prayer and counseling and is
now worshipping in church.

We became a source of comfort to
a family who lost their loved one to
HIV/AIDS as we contacted and con-
nected several relatives who were situ-
ated idely in the city. A mother with a
young baby lost contact with her hus-
band when he was transferred to an-
other city. We helped her to find him.

A man whose first son died shortly
after graduating from the University
received inner strength through prayer
and counseling before his son’s body
was carried home for burial.  Our
prayer is for God to send us more
counselors to carry out this very im-
portant work.

Loving greetings in Jesus’ name
from Churachandpur. I thank God
who helps us to report on our 2003
telephone ministry through Agape
Christian Museum Centre’s joint work
together with Love Lines Crisis Center
(USA).

Thank you for inviting us to the
Second International Conference in the
USA. In 2003 we had 339 salvations
and 1700 people filled with the Holy
Spirit. Our open times are seven days a
week, seven hours a day.

A  man from Bijang accepted Jesus
Christ on February 8th. He confessed
that his past life had been wretched
and wicked but now that he is filled
with the presence of God he is experi-
encing great happiness and hope for
the first time.

A man from Mongken said, ‘Today
I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior
which gives me peace of mind, rest and
real hope for all eternity,” and a man
from  Kamdouveng testifies,  “I ac-
cepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior
and He delivered me from death and
sins. From today I will serve the Lord
in whatever the Lord gives me to do
with all my talents and wisdom.  I
thank the Lord. Alleluia! Amen!”

Such testimonies are many.  We
thank the Lord and give Him the glory
forever.And we thank Mr. Dan
Morstad, who started Love Lines, and
all his co-workers.

Greetings in the precious name of
our Savior. Praise God for the im-
provements we have seen as a result of
counseling families at Light House Cri-
sis Center.  By the grace of God, a bro-
ken marriage was restored.  A sister
called about her husband who resorted
to drinking and staying out late. She
heard of the center and called for help.

Through prayer and counseling
the man stopped drinking and through
follow up calls, he made a decision for
Christ. They are now living happily
and in peace as a family.

A man, whose successful business
was experiencing financial difficulties,
called the Center.  We counseled him
to pay his tithes, to pay his taxes and to
be faithful to God’s work. The man
reported back to the Center that his
business started growing up again and
he promised to give monthly support
to Light House risis Center.

Light House Center also helps
hurting families.  One counselor, who
is working with parents whose chil-
dren are going wayward, has helped
the parents to see that when they come
together, the children will come into
obedience.

A woman who wasn’t attending
church made a commitment to Jesus,
then went to church with her husband,
received baptism and their children
began to go to church with them.

Our counseling team is mobilized
and the Director’s training materials
were very helpful. Money continues to
be one of our greatest setbacks.  Since
bowling fund-raisers do not work for
us, I am working out applicable meth-
ods of fund-raising in the near future.

Thank you for the information you
sent on telephone counseling.  I will
soon be using your materials to extend
the telephone ministry in a new area
and direction.

It is an internet chat line. We are
not setting up a new organization, but
are using your ministry in a new way.
The Lord has blessed us with one of the
largest Spanish speaking Christian
web sites in the world.  Over 700,000
people a month have visited us from
over 130 different countries.

On our site we have a chat room
where hundreds come in daily (it is
like a telephone crisis center and it is
up and running).  It operates so that
you can talk either publicly or pri-
vately with just one person. Many peo-
ple share very great problems, both
Christians and non-Christians.  They
are looking for someone to listen to
them.

Last year over 8,298 people invited
Christ into theirlives, and we coun-
seled 38,468 people, but we didn’t have
any special materials or training until
someone from your organization con-
tacted us recently. It resulted in our
acquiring the necessary training mate-
rials for our staff to be more effective in
our chat rooms. We are reaching
390,723 people on our weekly mailing
list.  Soon we will begin to train our
staff in how to use your materials to
help people who come into our chat
room in their time of crisis.

Thank you again for your phone
call. I had forgotten about your minis-
try after Amsterdam and that call has
made a great difference in our ministry.

Damaris Faulkner,

Manager, Global Missions

Incredible reports have been com-
ing in from our sister centers for the
year 2003.  So far, we have heard from
31 centers in 15 countries.  The follow-
ing statistics indicate the wonderful
way the Holy Spirit is using the tele-
phone-counseling ministry at this time
in history to reach hurting people.
Total number of calls: 64,054; salva-
tions: 13,665; counselors in total: 471;
number of hours open per week: 2,625;
filled with the Holy Spirit Baptism:
10,976; people followed up: 6,667.

I would like to concentrate on
ways in which your centers have been
publicized so that your community is
aware of your services.  Please write to
me and share how you have advertised
the work of your center.  I will share
later with everyone a list of the ideas.

Plans are in the making for our
second International Conference of
Christian Crisis Center here in Minne-
apolis during October 6-13, 2004.
Those who send us the requested re-
port for 2003 are eligible to attend.  You
must request an official letter of invita-
tion.  Many sessions will be offered
about how to operate a telephone crisis
center, including such topics as: re-
cruiting and training volunteers,
scheduling, paper work, follow up,
turnover of volunteers, public rela-
tions, TV and the Internet, and many
ideas about fund raising.  Time will be
given for interaction between the par-
ticipants.  We want participants to
share pertinent information about suc-
cessful strategies for operating their
centers.  There will also be special
times of worship, devotions, and the
prophetic.

The conference is FREE.  Your
board and room will be provided for
the days of the conference.  We CAN
NOT PAY for your transportation to
and from Minneapolis.

Please let me hear from you soon.
